Arrival of the participants.

Monday, 1st October 2018

 On Monday, the participants visited the school. Later, all the students participating in the

project presented their schools with video films and presentations. The pupils were given the task to

prepare their presentation about the impressions at school and in Bulgaria and present it to other

partners at the end of the week. The guests watched the performance of "Police Academy" of the

school and the 4th grade pupil's play "Seasons".

 After lunch, the guests went sightseeing in Sofia. The excursion was conducted by senior


During the dinner, the participants of the project had the opportunity to taste national dishes

prepared by the pupils' parents and to dance the dances of the participating countries.

Tuesday, 2nd October 2018

 The participants observed the German lesson. The teacher introduced the computer program


 The project coordinators discussed the situation in Greece with the project managers. The

Parapotamos School in Greece refused to take part in the project because of the departure of the

project coordinator at school.

 Co-ordinators of all countries discussed the work which has already been done and what else

must be done.


1. It was decided to abandon the FACEBOOK account as it has already been developed for

teachers participating in the Project.

2. It is necessary to update the website of the Project. The material will be uploaded by the

coordinators of all countries.

3. Lithuania will upload all project photos to the website.

4. There was a discussion about Project midterm meeting and teachers training in Estonia. It

was schedulled: from 12th of March 2019 to 15th March 2019, adding 2 days to travel.

5. Student exchange and teacher training data in Portugal was schedulled: from 7th October

2019 to 11th October 2019, adding 2 days to travel.

6. It was decided to prepare and send the materials to the second newspaper.

7. Portugal is responsible for publishing a brochure on teaching methods. All project partners

have to send 2-page material and 300/600 pixel photos about the use of teaching methods in

primary and elementary schools.

8. Italian representatives must produce a brochure on ITC games.

While teachers were discussing the activities, the pupils met the school psychologists and

conducted the "The magic of words" workshop. Another activity was provided with a help of

tablets. Students and teachers were introduced to the “Write Comics“ program. For assignments,

keywords were provided to create the text and characters (humans and animals), the

environment was applied. Project participants were able to see and test 3D glasses themselves.

In the afternoon, the participants of the project visited the Bulgarian National Museum of History.

Wednesday, 3rd October 2018

Being on the excursion the guests visited the ancient city of Bulgaria - Plovdiv.

Thursday, 4th November 2018

The Bulgarian language teacher and pupils introduced the Bulgarian poet Elisaveta Bagryana,

whose name the school has.

Each partner country translated the poem of this poet about the homeland, and the students read it

aloud in Bulgarian, Turkish, Italian, Portuguese and Lithuanian.

After this lesson, a meeting with the mayor, who welcomed the guests and presented the

certificates, took place.

Project participants met the Chinese and English language teachers who introduced Chinese and the

USA education systems.

Students from Bulgaria and other countries prepared presentations on the activities during this

week's project and presented to all participants.

Lithuanian students completed a questionnaire on activities in Bulgaria.

Friday, 5th of November 2018

On Friday, the participants shared their experience in reading and writing in English lessons.

Later on, the students participated in sports competitions, answered the questionnaire questions.

Everyone received certificates.
